Atmospheric Pressure Experiment: The importance of good teachers in life can be clearly understood from a video going viral on the internet. In this video surfaced on social media, a teacher is seen giving practical of Atmospheric Pressure to children.

Instead of limiting studies to just books, the teacher conducted such a physics experiment in the classroom that the children were astonished. It can be seen in the video that the teacher lifts the entire desk in the air with the help of paper, water, glass and fire. This sight was not only exciting for the children, but the people watching the video were also stunned.

Unique way of teaching physics goes viral

In the video, the teacher first pours water on the desk and spreads paper sheets on it. After this they take two glasses and put burning paper inside both the glasses. Then the glass is turned upside down and pressed firmly on the wet paper. After some time, when the fire inside the glass gets extinguished and the air cools down, low pressure i.e. vacuum is created inside.

After this the teacher holds the glass and lifts the entire desk up. Seeing this, the children present in the class stand up from their seats and start clapping and the excitement is clearly visible.

People called it the power of physics

The science behind this experiment is absolutely normal physics, which is called Inverted Glass Vacuum Experiment. When the air inside the glass gets heated and then cools down, the pressure inside decreases. Due to high atmospheric pressure outside, glass, paper and desk stick tightly to each other.

This is why teachers are able to lift the desk easily. This video was posted on Instagram by Mohammad Irfan Warish (@mderfanwarish) on January 26, which has so far been viewed more than 1 crore 29 lakh times and has received more than 8 lakh likes. In the comment section, people are calling it ‘the power of physics’ and ‘the right way to teach’.
