Paul Pogba could soon face more career turmoil amid claims that Monaco are weighing up whether the former Manchester United midfielder still has a future at the club.
Pogba, 32, was a free agent before joining the Ligue 1 outfit back in the summer after serving an 18 month doping ban. He put pen to paper on a two-year deal, however, his time in Monaco has been anything but fruitful, with injuries restricting him to a total of just 30 minutes of game time across three appearances.
Per Italian outlet Gazetta, Pogba's failure to make a significant impact at his new club could see his time in Monaco cut short with their chief executive, Thiago Scuro, reportedly saying he may have to sit down with the player if things do not turn around, indicating Pogba's time at the club could be cut short.

Pogba is currently sidelined with a calf injury that he sustained during a training session last month. Initially described as 'minor', the issue has sidelined him for seven games.
As a result, Pogba will miss the chance to try and get one over on his former club, Juventus, whom he criticised for dumping him after he was handed a doping ban, when they face Monaco in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
Speaking in the wake of Pogba's latest setback, the club's head coach, Sebastien Pocognoli said: "To have come back from where he was and to play again is already spectacular.
"But right now, I can’t look towards the future. He is working, and we are there to support him. I understand the concern but I can’t worry about that. I manage the team, and Paul is a part of what I want to put in place, as soon as he is ready to help us."
Monaco face Rennes in league action and Strasbourg in the Round of 16 in the French Cup after locking horns with Juventus, however, it remains to be seen when Pogba will be ready to return.
He was a free agent for seven-and-a-half months before agreeing to link up with Monaco.
