Arijit Singh’s wife’s name is Koel Roy. Koyal and Arijit have been childhood friends and both studied in the same school. Koel entered the singer’s life at a time when he was going through a difficult phase after the breakdown of his first marriage. At the same time, the same thing happened with the cuckoo. They supported each other and in 2014, when Arijit’s career was at its peak, they got married in a simple ceremony at the Tarapith temple in West Bengal, attended by only their close relatives.

Arijit announced his retirement, saying that he would now work as a ‘small artist’. According to people close to him, Arijit wants to give his children a simple and better life away from the hustle and bustle of Mumbai, due to which he has decided to say goodbye to the film world.
