Pakistan Book Tickets for T20 World Cup 2026: The ongoing suspense regarding Pakistan’s participation in the T20 World Cup 2026 is now almost on the verge of ending. On one hand, the statements of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) were giving rise to the fear of boycott, on the other hand, the latest information has clarified the picture to a great extent.

According to sources, the Pakistan cricket team has completed preparations for its travel to Colombo and the team can board a flight to Sri Lanka on Monday.

Will fly with the Australian team

Telecom Asia Sport’s report has exposed Pakistan’s double standards. It is reported that even before the official confirmation on the team’s participation, seats for the players have been reserved in the Air Lanka flight from Lahore. Interestingly, Pakistani players will fly to Colombo along with the Australian team. Experts believe that PCB Chief Mohsin Naqvi can take a U-turn by formally announcing the participation by Friday.

Why did such a terrible conflict happen?

The crux of the controversy was the ICC’s decision to reject Bangladesh’s request to shift matches from India to Sri Lanka despite security concerns. In protest, PCB Chief Mohsin Naqvi threatened to boycott the tournament. The matter escalated so much that Naqvi had to seek advice from everyone from Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif to the military establishment.
