**Border 2**, directed by Anurag Singh and produced by J.P. A sequel to Dutta’s 1997 cult classic *Border*, it slowed down a bit at the box office on its seventh day, but maintained a good pace.

According to trade tracker **Sacknilk** (as reported on outlets like Koimoi, Indian Express and Zee News on January 30, 2026), the film collected **₹13.14 crore** nett in India on its seventh day (Thursday, January 29). This was a slight decline from the sixth day’s ₹15.04 crore, reflecting the usual slow pace on weekdays after the long Republic Day weekend. Hindi occupancy averaged **14.52%**, with the breakdown as follows: morning show **6.67%**, afternoon show **14.23%**, evening show **17.05%**, and night peak **20.11%**.

After seven days the total India net collection became **₹244.97 crore**. With worldwide gross collections of approximately **₹328–₹330 crore** (domestic gross ~₹289 crore + overseas ~₹40 crore), the film recovered ~89% of its reported **₹275 crore** budget in just one week—making it a blockbuster and the 9th highest opening week in the history of Hindi cinema.

*Border 2*, released on **January 23, 2026** (Eve of Republic Day), made huge collections during holidays: Day 1 ₹32.10 crore, Day 2 ₹40.59 crore, Day 3 ₹57.20 crore, Day 4 (Republic Day) ₹63.59 crore (peak), Day 5 ₹23.31 crore, Day 6 ₹15.04 crore, Day 7 ₹13.14 crore.
