According to Dimsum DailyFang has frequently posted updates about her daily life on social media in recent years. In a video uploaded on Jan. 4 and filmed at the opening of a gold jewelry store in Shanghai, she appears in a champagne-gold outfit with carefully styled makeup and accessories, carrying a black Hermès Mini Kelly handbag. The model is seen welcomed by store staff and presented with a range of gold pieces to try on.

Fang told the store staff she preferred simple, practical designs suitable for everyday wear and highlighted a crab-themed item she chose as a gift for her “three treasures,” referring to her daughters. The video then shows her completing purchases and leaving with three large shopping bags carried by attendants.

While Fang did not disclose the total cost or exact items purchased, viewers said the number of items she reviewed suggested a substantial outlay, especially with gold prices near record highs.

Local media reports say Fang comes from a modest background, and that her parents were only able to move to the city and purchase a car after her marriage to Kwok.

Kwok began his entertainment career as a trained dancer before expanding into singing and acting, later becoming one of Hong Kong’s “Four Heavenly Kings” alongside Jacky Cheung, Andy Lau, and Leon Lai. In 2021, the South China Morning Post estimated his net worth at about US$20 million.
