India’s budget is unaware of real crises, ignored all upcoming global shocks: Rahul Gandhi

New Delhi. On the pretext of Union Budget 2026-27, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi has made a big attack on Modi Government. He wrote on X Post that this budget is aimed at jobless youth, falling manufacturing, investors withdrawing capital. He said that domestic savings are falling rapidly and farmers are worried.

Rahul Gandhi said that all the upcoming global shocks were ignored. A budget that refuses to reform is ignorant of India’s real crises. Along with this, when asked about his comment to the media on the Union Budget 2026-27, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi said that he will say it tomorrow. He said that I will speak tomorrow using the platform given by Parliament.

Shashi Tharoor raised questions

On the Union Budget, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor said that very little information was received. There were 3-4 main points, but we were waiting for All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA). Where is it? We wanted it in Kerala. We have a long tradition of Ayurveda. But we did not hear the name of Kerala. We heard names of fishermen and coconuts. It could have been Kerala, but when they talked about ship repairs, they took the names of Varanasi and Patna, not Kerala. This is a bit surprising. But perhaps there will be more information in the budget document. I haven’t read it yet. However, very little information was given in the speech.
