The deadline for one-time registration is set for February 14, while the final date for completing the application form and submitting the fee is February 16, 2026. Interested candidates must apply online within these specified dates.

To be eligible for the India Post GDS Recruitment 2026, candidates must meet the following criteria:


1. Must be an Indian citizen.


2. Should have completed 10th grade from a recognized board or institution.


3. Must have achieved passing marks in Mathematics and English in the 10th grade.


4. The age of applicants should be between 18 and 40 years. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided for candidates from reserved categories as per government regulations.

Fee Structure


To participate in this recruitment, candidates from the General and OBC categories are required to pay a fee of Rs. 100. However, candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories can apply without any fee.


This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 28,740 positions across 23 states and union territories, with the highest number of vacancies available in Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and West Bengal.
