Sampurnata Abhiyan 2.0 started in the district, CDO administered oath

Sampurnata Abhiyan 2.0 was inaugurated by Sadar MLA Bhupesh Choubey and District Panchayat President Radhika Patel in Vikas Bhawan auditorium. On this occasion, Chief Development Officer Jagriti Awasthi gave a pledge to all the district and block level officers and while providing information about the indicators to everyone, made them aware of the gap in that area and directed that all the departments should certify the indicators to physical structures with geo-tagged photos and satiate them by 31 March 2026 by following the action plan.

Under Sampurnata Abhiyan 2.0, a target has been set to satiate 5 indicators at the district level and 6 indicators at the block level. Sampurnata Abhiyan 2.0 will be conducted from 28 January to 14 April 2026 under the Aspirational District Program and Aspirational Block Program run by NITI Aayog. The main objective of this campaign is to ensure reach of government services to the last man by working in mission-mode on selected indicators in critical areas like health, nutrition, education and agriculture.

The indicators to be saturated under the Aspirational District Program include the proportion of birth weight recorded, TB case notification rate (government and private institutions), percentage of Anganwadi Centres/Urban Primary Health Centers organizing at least one Village Health Sanitation and Nutrition Day (VHSND) in the last one month, percentage of animals vaccinated and percentage of schools with active girl toilets.

Under the Aspirational Block Program (Chatra), the percentage of children aged between 6 months to 6 years who are regularly taking supplementary nutrition under the ICDS programme, measurement efficiency percentage (LengthDhwajan) of children enrolled in Anganwadi centers in the reporting month, percentage of operational Anganwadi centers with functional toilets, percentage of operational Anganwadi centers with drinking water facility, percentage of schools with sufficient number of girls toilet facilities in relation to the total schools and The percentage of cattle vaccinated under FMD has been set as the target indicator.

Sadar MLA Bhupesh Choubey said that the Aspirational District Program and Aspirational Block Program have proved to be a milestone in the development of Sonbhadra district. Sonbhadra is the first district of Uttar Pradesh where seating arrangements have been made available for students in all council schools. Addressing all the officers, he said that this program provides you a golden opportunity to work for the district and for the people of the district.

District Panchayat President Radhika Patel congratulated all the officers and employees for successfully completing 5 out of 6 indicators in Sampurnata Abhiyan 1.0 and getting the silver medal from NITI Aayog, and motivated them to complete all the 11 indicators in Sampurnata Abhiyan 2.0 within time. Finally, the ceremony was concluded by the Chief Development Officer thanking the respected public representatives present.
