One of Netflix‘s popular reality competition series has returned with a Valentine’s Day special episode. The streamer’s baking show, Is It Cake?treats fans with a brand-new special episode featuring three couples competing with each other to find out which one of them can bake the most realistic romantic cake.

“Cupid’s arrow has struck the Is It Cake kitchen for the first-ever Is It Cake? Valentine’s special! Three baking couples of master cake artists compete,” reads the show’s Valentine’s Day special logline. “Together, they tackle all new games, craft swoonworthy cakes, and attempt to fool the judges and each other! And for the first time in Is It Cake history, there are games just for the viewer! With hearts pounding and money on the line, these couples are in for the sweetest date night of their lives!”

Is It Cake? is created by Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz. It is hosted by Saturday Night Live star Mikey Day, who has been with the reality competition series since its first season in 2022. Before the Valentine’s Day special, the hit Netflix show had already released three seasons and three specials. It is a production by Alfred Street Industries.

“Skilled cake artists create mouthwatering replicas of handbags, sewing machines, and more in a mind-bending baking contest inspired by a popular meme,” reads the show’s official logline.
