US President Donald Trump supports Savannah Guthrie amid the disappearance of her mother: ' We are deploying all resources'

US President Donald Trump has revealed that he has spoken with Savannah Guthrie regarding the disappearance of her mom, Nancy Guthrie . Trump shared details in a Truth Social post on Wednesday. This comes after American journalist Savannah Guthrie addressed the disappearance of her mom, Nancy Guthrie, in an Instagram post on Monday, February 2.

Donald Trump extends his support to Savannah Guthrie Trump wrote on Truth Social, "I spoke with Savannah Guthrie, and let her know that I am directing ALL Federal Law Enforcement to be at the family's, and Local Law Enforcement's, complete disposal, IMMEDIATELY.” He continued, "We are deploying all resources to get her mother home safely. The prayers of our Nation are with her and her family. GOD BLESS AND PROTECT NANCY!"

This is followed by Trump's statement to the Oval Office to reporters on February 3, where he said, “I think it’s terrible,” when asked about the situation.

The White House also shared information about Nancy’s disappearance on Instagram. “The search for Savannah Guthrie’s mother, Nancy Guthrie, is ongoing, and authorities are requesting assistance from the public,” the administration wrote. “Anyone with information is urged to contact 911. Our prayers are with the Guthrie family as we hope for Nancy’s safe return home. 🙏,” the post said.

About Nancy Guthrie’s disappearanceAccording to PEOPLE, the journalist's 84-year-old mom, Nancy Guthrie, disappeared on Jan. 31, prompting the Pima County Sheriff's Department in Arizona to launch a search the following day. She was last seen at her home near East Skyline Drive and North Campbell Avenue at around 9:30 p.m.
