If you thought The 50 couldn’t get any more dramatic, think again!

The latest episode just served us some major tea, and we are here for it!

So here’s what went down: YouTuber Maxtern (aka Sagar Thakur) literally threatened to slap Elvish Yadav during a task, and things escalated SO fast! The moment his rant ended, Elvish’s friends in the house, Lakshya Chaudhary, Archit Kaushik, and Lovekesh Kataria, actually pushed Maxtern to the ground.

For those of you who don’t know about the show, The 50″ is an Indian reality show where 50 celebrities live together in a luxury palace and compete to be the last person standing over about 50 days. What makes it different is that fans win the ₹50 lakh prize money, not the contestants. Through an app feature called “Fantelligence” on JioHotstar, fans pick their favorite celebrity early on, and if that person wins the show, those fans get a share of the cash through lucky draws.

During the task, Maxtern went off and said, “Main naa chahta inka maalik jaake dusre reality shows main baketi kare aur yeh bole ki usne Maxtern ke thapad maarke followers badhaye. Vo ghoda mere kya followers badhayega uske khudh ke doston ki 1 million nahi hai.”

Basically, he was saying he doesn’t want Elvish going around on other reality shows claiming he gained followers by slapping Maxtern, and even threw shade at Elvish’s friends for not having a million followers themselves. 

The other housemates looked visibly uncomfortable as the tension in the room became unbearable. 

For those who need a refresher, Maxtern and Elvish have a serious history. Remember that viral video from March 2024 where Elvish allegedly attacked Maxtern in Gurugram? Yeah, that incident. The feud has been ongoing, and it looks like The 50 just became the perfect pressure cooker for all that unresolved drama.

In earlier episodes, Maxtern opened up to Prince Narula about how confusing the whole situation is. He said the fight was supposedly over, but Elvish keeps making fun of him on other shows without addressing things directly. Prince totally related, sharing his own experience of visiting Elvish’s village in Punjab and dealing with threats. He even called out Elvish’s “real gangster” persona.

But wait, there’s more! The same episode also saw Saurabh Ghadge and Sumaira Shaikh getting eliminated in the most unexpected twist. With 11 contestants in the unsafe zone, the safe players had to vote someone out. But here’s the kicker – Saurabh and Sumaira were eliminated because literally no one voted for them!

Siddharth Bharadwaj tried to explain that they were “good humans,” and the show seems to favor more aggressive personalities (we mean, after what happened with Maxtern, he might have a point?). Ridhi was especially heartbroken about Sumaira leaving, saying, “It’s a hard show, and people are leaving early. Sumaira told me she is an introvert and doesn’t talk much. I understand that because I am also an introvert.”

Honestly, The 50 is serving everything drama, unexpected eliminations, old feuds resurfacing, and physical confrontations. It’s like they took all the masala from every reality show and put it in one explosive package!
