Indian Army NCC Recruitment: The Indian Army has announced a total of 70 vacancies for the 124th Course (October 2026) of the NCC Special Entry Scheme. NCC Special Entry 124th Course - Eligibility Criteria: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized university with approximately 50% marks in aggregate.
Candidates must have at least 2 or 3 years of experience in the NCC Senior Division/Wing and must have secured at least a 'B' grade in the 'C' Certificate examination.
For candidates in this category, a bachelor's degree is required, but an NCC 'C' certificate is not required.
Applicants for this recruitment must be between 19 and 25 years of age. Candidates must not have been born before July 2, 2001, and after July 1, 2007 (both dates inclusive).

How many positions will be filled?
A total of 70 vacancies are available under the Indian Army's NCC Special Entry 124th Course, including 63 for NCC men (general category) and 7 for dependents of battle casualties. Selected candidates will receive a stipend of ₹56,100 per month during training.

How will the selection process be conducted?
The recruitment process for candidates will be conducted in April-May 2026. Applications will be submitted first, followed by shortlisting. Shortlisted candidates will be called for the SSB (Services Selection Board). After passing the SSB, they will undergo a medical examination. After completion of the entire process, a merit list will be released, and successful candidates will be issued joining letters. This entire work is expected to be completed in the first week of May 2026.
