NCL Assistant Foreman Recruitment 2026: Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL), a subsidiary of Coal India Limited and a Miniratna PSU, has opened the application process for direct recruitment to the post of Assistant Foreman (Trainee) Grade-C. A total of 270 vacant positions will be filled under this recruitment drive. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online by visiting NCL's official website, nclcil.in. Eligibility Requirements
Candidates must have passed 10th (Matriculation) from a recognized board. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years' diploma in electrical, mechanical, or electronics/telecommunications. Candidates with higher degrees, such as B.E./B.Tech can also apply.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and a maximum of 30 years old as of March 5, 2026. Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC/NCL categories will be provided as per government regulations.

Salary Requirements?
Selected candidates will receive a basic salary of ₹47,330.25 per month.
In addition, they will also receive dearness allowance (DA), HRA, attendance bonus, and other government benefits.

The training period for E&T trades is 1 year.

The training period for mechanical and electrical trades is 2 years.

Application Fee
General, OBC, and EWS category candidates will have to pay an application fee of ₹1,180 (₹1,000 fee + ₹180 GST). SC, ST, PwBD, and ex-servicemen category candidates are fully exempted from the application fee.
