TV presenter Bradley Walsh slammed a contestant on The Chase for a "ridiculous" answer on Tuesday evening. The primetime ITV quiz show was back for another brand new episode as the host welcomed Damian from Corby, Elianne from Derby, Sam from Borehamwood and Bez from Kent to take down one of The Chasers.
Up first was Damian, as the Chaser was revealed to be Darragh Ennis, also known as "The Menace". After a decent cashbuilder round, where the player answered six correctly, the game moved on to the head-to-head. The contestant opted for a respectable middle offer of £6,000. But one question left Bradley in a huff, as he folded his arms with a look of disgust on his face. He asked: "In 2024, Wild Thang was named the 'World's Ugliest...' what?" The suggested answers were cat, dog or baby. Damian selected baby as Bradley looked horrified.
After looking at the player for an explanation, Damian said: "I don't remember, but I've seen lots of videos of ugly babies on social media."
Bradley was left open-mouthed as Darragh chuckled away to himself. "Wow," the host exclaimed.
"How to win friends and influence people, hey, Damian? The correct answer is... can't be baby, surely."
It was then revealed to be dog as Brad said: "Thank the Lord!" Darragh had gotten the question correct.

He shared: "It's one of those poor unfortunate ones, where its tongue is always sticking out and it's not the prettiest animal."
As the player edged another step closer to defeat, Bradley took a moment to halt the game and rub it in.
He said: "We would still be well in it by now if you hadn't put that ridiculous answer."
However, with a stroke of luck, Damian went through to bag himself a place in the final, with a chance to win a portion of the overall cash prize.
