New Delhi: Bollywood’s much awaited film Don 3 has now come under controversy even before its release and this time the matter is not just about casting but has reached a financial dispute worth crores. The ongoing tension between Ranveer Singh and Farhan Akhtar has also activated the big names of the industry. According to the news, to resolve this controversy, veteran actors like Aamir Khan and Hrithik Roshan have come forward and efforts are being made to calm the matter through discussion. The incident is being seen as a major conflict, efforts to resolve it are ongoing.

About two and a half years ago, Farhan Akhtar had announced Don 3 with great enthusiasm and Ranveer Singh was introduced as the new Don. The teaser of the film was also released and curiosity increased among the audience. But recently the news came out that Ranveer has distanced himself from this project. After this, the matter of compensation of Rs 40 crore from Farhan’s production company came to light due to which the controversy gained momentum. Ranveer says that this payment is not his responsibility because the preparations for the film could not proceed on time.

According to reports, Ranveer also alleged that after signing him, Farhan also talked to Hrithik Roshan for the role of Don, which made him uncomfortable. He also said that the script of the film was not completely ready and many creative changes could not be agreed upon. For this reason he decided to distance himself from the project.

Apart from Aamir Khan and Hrithik Roshan, filmmakers and producers like Rajkumar Hirani, Zoya Akhtar, Sajid Nadiadwala, Ramesh Taurani, Kumar Mangat and Amritpal Singh Bindra became part of this discussion. Financial issues were discussed in detail in the meeting and efforts were made to find a solution between both the parties.

Indian Film and Television Producers Guild has also indicated that if mutual agreement is not reached then legal help can be taken. In such a situation, there is a possibility that the matter will reach the court.

The Don franchise has a very strong history. Amitabh Bachchan made it a classic by playing a double role in the original film. Later Shahrukh Khan gave a new identity to this character. Now Ranveer Singh was to be introduced as the third Don but the current controversy has made the future uncertain.

Here Ranveer Singh is in the headlines for his recent success Dhurandhar. The film performed tremendously at the box office and now Dhurandhar 2 is gearing up for release. This film, which is going to be released on March 19, is going to clash with South Superstar Yash’s Toxic, which can lead to a big clash at the box office.
