Model Kate Moss has risked a furious backlash after sending Sarah Ferguson a discreet olive branch this week. The model, who has been friends with Sarah for a number of years, wore an outfit on Tuesday that has ties to the former duchess, whose reputation has plummetedsince appearing in the Epstein files.
On Tuesday, Moss wore a vintage pink colour block jacket designed by Yves Saint Laurent to the afterparty for the YSL show at Paris Fashion Week. Royal fans may note that this is the same jacket that was famously worn by Sarah Ferguson back in 1990.
The royal wore the jacket when she left the Portland Hospital in London following the birth of Princess Eugenie.
While it is not known whether Moss wore the jacket as an intentional olive branch to Sarah, this is believed to be likely.
This is because the pair have been well-known friends in the past, known for having partied together and been on holidays together.
This, according to The Daily Mail, included a holiday in Venice in 2013 and then another in Greece in 2016.
Sarah also attended Kate's 43rd birthday in 2017, with the model then being among the guests at Princess Eugenie's 2018 wedding.

It is not known when Kate and Sarah last spoke, or whether they are still friends.
It is also not known whether Kate would have reached out to Sarah over the last few months following her scandals, which have seen the former duchess appear in the Epstein files a number of times.
Appearing in the Epstein files does not indicate any wrongdoing.
