Shetkari karjmafi : There is happy and comforting news for all the farmers brothers of Maharashtra. Currently the budget session of Maharashtra is going on and will there be loan waiver for farmers in this session? And will any financial provision be made by the government for that? This is the aim of the farmer. Meanwhile, Maharashtra’s Agriculture Minister Dattatray Bharne has given information to the media that will please the farmers. Speaking to the media in the premises of Vidhan Bhavan, Dattatray Bharne has mentioned the date of loan waiver.
Dattatraya Bharne said, the government will announce an important decision regarding farmer loan waiver before June 30. We have formed a committee under the chairmanship of Mr. Praveen Pradesh to find out about the amount of arrears owed by the farmers, its nature and amount. Usually we all will get the report in the first week of April.
After receiving this report, the Chief Minister and two Deputy Chief Ministers of this state will announce the loan waiver for farmers before 30 June 2026. Dattatray Bharne announced that as we know, the end of the year when a farmer takes a loan in any development organization of the society is June 30, so the loan of farmers will be waived before June 30 (Shetkari karjmafi).
Are there any pending questions that are frequently asked about coming to the dam? When asked this question, Dattatraya Bharne said, we are coming to the dam every day. We are on the fence every day. Every minister is a farmer. As most of the ministers are farmers, they are on the embankment every day. If you ask me as Agriculture Minister, what time do I go to bed in the morning? Dattatray Bharne replied that I see dam farm and every time I go out in the morning when I wake up, I see dam farm.
In fact, the Mahayuti government had promised before the assembly elections that our government came to power that we would waive the farmers’ loans. But even after 15 months of the government, farmers’ loans have not been waived. Farmers have suffered huge losses in the last rainy season. Land, cattle, crops, houses are washed away in the rain water, so the farmer is in trouble. Therefore, the farmer expects the government to waive the loan as soon as possible.
