Anthony Evans, 42, and Leah Evans, 37, from Rhondda, Wales, romped in the eatery's outdoor seating area in Talbot Green on February 23, according to the police.
The pair were caught by South Wales Police after the café owner spotted Mr and Mrs Evans' antics on CCTV. They pleaded guilty to outraging public decency and criminal damage.
Police reported on Friday that they were sentenced to three months at Merthyr Tydfil Magistrates' Court on February 27.
Pc Ffion Hiscutt said: "This was unacceptable behaviour [and a] deplorable act in a public place which was clearly visible to the public.
"They now have a short stint in prison to think about their actions."
Outraging public decency can be reported to the police by calling 101, online or at a police station.
The police advise anyone who witnesses such offences not to engage with alleged offenders or show a "strong" emotional response.

Police UK adds: "[O]utraging public decency is when someone does something lewd, obscene or disgusting in the presence of at least two members of the public.
"You might feel anxiety, fear and feelings of distrust and violation. Or you might not feel alarmed or distressed at all. There is no right or wrong way to feel."
The advice also includes moving away if possible and taking a photo of the offenders from a safe distance.
