India created history by becoming the first side to win three T20 World Cup titles after beating New Zealand in the final of the 2026 edition in Ahmedabad.

The bowling pack, led by Jasprit Bumrah’s spell of 4/15, ensured the Kiwis did not come close to the target, eventually winning by 96 runs.
