- This date will end on March 15, 2026 at 9:17 am.
- On the basis of Udayatithi, the fast of Papamochani Ekadashi will be observed on Sunday, March 15, 2026.
What activities should be avoided on the day of Papmochani Ekadashi?
Do not eat spicy food
People who are not fasting on the day of Ekadashi should also stay away from Tamasic food like meat, fish, egg, alcohol and garlic-onion.

According to religious belief, rice should not be consumed on the day of Ekadashi. This is considered against the rules of fasting.
