Ceigall India has announced that its subsidiary, Ceigall Southern Ludhiana Bypass Private Limited, has received confirmation from the National Highways Authority of India regarding the provisional appointed date for a significant infrastructure project. The project involves the development of a 6-lane greenfield Southern Ludhiana Bypass, with a bid project cost of ₹923 crore.
The bypass will stretch from the intersection with NH-44 near Village Rajgarh to the intersection with the Delhi Katra Expressway (NE 5) near Village Ballowal. The project is part of the Ludhiana-Ajmer Economic Corridor and will be executed under the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM). The concession period for the project is set at 24 months, with the provisional appointed date established as 7th March 2026.
This development marks a significant step forward in enhancing connectivity and infrastructure in the state of Punjab, contributing to the broader economic corridor.
