Agra. Uttar Pradesh government has launched an important scheme to make the youth self-reliant. Under this scheme, less educated youth will also get the opportunity to start their own business. Under the Chief Minister Youth Development Campaign of Yogi Adityanath government, interest free loan of up to Rs 5 lakh will be provided to eligible youth through banks.
The objective of this scheme is to motivate the youth to start their own employment instead of searching for a job, so that they can progress themselves and create employment opportunities for others as well.
Loan will be available without guarantee
According to the District Industry and Enterprise Promotion Centre, under this scheme, loans up to Rs 5 lakh will be given to the youth completely interest free. The special thing is that there will be no need to give any kind of guarantee for this loan. Apart from this, 10 percent margin money subsidy will also be given on the projects approved by the government, which will reduce the financial burden on the beneficiaries.
Required eligibility for application
To avail the benefits of this scheme, the age of the applicant should be between 21 to 40 years. Along with this, the minimum educational qualification has been kept as passing eighth class.

Will be able to start business in these areas
Under this scheme, youth will be encouraged to start businesses in manufacturing and service sectors. In the manufacturing sector, units like shoe insoles, slippers manufacturing, spices, flour, snacks, readymade garments, furniture, plastic products and dairy processing can be set up. In the service sector, this loan will also be given for works like e-rickshaw operation, mobile repairing, beauty parlor, computer center, vehicle service center, coaching institute, laundry and business on wheels.
