Big news has come for the fans waiting for the 19th season of IPL 2026. BCCI has released the schedule of the first 20 matches of the tournament. The first match of the season will be played on March 28 between defending Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad in Bengaluru.
This time the complete schedule of IPL has not been released simultaneously. Keeping in mind the assembly elections to be held in Assam, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu and Kerala, BCCI has decided to release the tournament schedule in two phases. At present, the schedule of the first 20 days of matches to be played in the first phase till April 12 has been revealed.
Many big and exciting matches will be seen in the initial schedule. Fans will get to see matches like Mumbai Indians vs Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals vs Chennai Super Kings and Punjab Kings vs Gujarat Titans in the initial days itself.
Fans hope that this season of IPL 2026 will also be very exciting like previous years, where all the teams will be seen giving their full strength to win the title.
