Bengaluru’s Upparpet police traced a lost luggage bag belonging to a woman from Puttur four days after it went missing during a bus journey.
The woman, identified as Rakshitha, a resident of Tenkila Nujji in Puttur, works for a company in Dubai. She arrived at Bengaluru airport from Dubai at around 11.30 pm on March 7.
From the airport, she boarded a private bus to Majestic. During the journey, she had placed her luggage in the bus’s luggage compartment.
However, upon reaching Majestic, the bag was missing. When she enquired with the bus staff, she did not receive any clear information.
A complaint was lodged with Upparpet police on March 8. Puttur MLA Ashok Rai had also informed the Bengaluru Police Commissioner about the incident.
Following investigation, the police traced the luggage four days later.
