Oscars host Conan O'Brien might be one of the biggest Hollywood talk show stars, but he hasn't always had it so easy. Back in 2007, he was embroiled in a terrifying stalking plot when a disgraced priest from Boston refused to stop contacting him over 14 months, sending threatening notes written on stationery emblazoned with his parish mark. He even contacted the talk show star's parents.
In chilling notes signed "Padre", he wrote: "I want a public confession before I ever consider giving you absolution - or a spot on your couch." He referred to himself as "your priest stalker" and "your most dangerous fan".

Things came to a head when the priest - Reverend David Ajemian - attempted to enter a filming session of NBC show Late Night with Conan O'Brien in New York City.
He was finally arrested and charged with aggravated stalking and harassment in a campaign that went on for more than a year.
In April 2008, Ajemian pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct, with the stronger charges withdrawn. The priest apologised in a New York courtroom. He was handed a restraining order, forcing him to stay away from the star's home and office for two years.
He was admitted "indefinitely" to an unnamed residential treatment facility, and left in September 2008.
Ajemian said: "I regret my behaviour that caused concern of the people that I was trying to contact."
He was put on leave by the Archdiocese of Baltimore after first being ordained in 2001. But his colleagues described him as "kind and generous and affable and concerned how people were."
