Panchak March 2026: Panchak is very important in Hindu religion. In astrology, Panchak is considered a challenging time. Panchak is an inauspicious time of five days. Panchak is related to the constellation transit of the Moon. When the Moon starts from Dhanishtha Nakshatra and passes till Revati Nakshatra, then Panchak occurs. These five days are a period of special caution. Panchak is being observed from this evening. Panchak will start today at 06:14 pm. This Panchak will last till 02:28 pm on 20th March.

Today is Monday, hence this Panchak to be observed today will be called Raj Panchak. Even normal tasks are not done in Panchak. However, Raj Panchak is considered auspicious. Roof Casting: Even the roof of the house should not be sloped during Panchak. The foundation of the house should not even be laid.

Construction work: No construction work of any kind should be started during Panchak.

Traveling South: South is considered to be the direction of Yamraj, the god of death. One should not travel in this direction during Panchak. Traveling in this direction during Panchak is inauspicious.
