In the petition, Himayani Puri has also demanded damages of Rs 10 crore and requested the court to stop the concerned platforms and other institutions from spreading such defamatory content. Senior advocate Mahesh Jethmalani, appearing for him, argued that he was being systematically targeted and it was part of a malicious campaign. According to the petition, since around February 22, 2026, misleading and false content is being spread against him on many platforms including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.
Himayani Puri says that she works in the finance and investment sector and she is being targeted only because she is the daughter of a Union Minister. He has described the allegations of any connection with Epstein as completely false and fabricated. It was also said in the court that these allegations have caused serious damage to his image and professional reputation. Further hearing in the case is going on.
