Eligibility Criteria for Jobs at IIT
Chief Security Officer: A Commissioned Officer from the Army/Navy/Air Force, a Deputy Superintendent of Police, or an Assistant Commandant of a Police/Security Force, holding a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks, along with 15 years of relevant experience. Out of this total experience, a minimum of five years must have been served at Pay Level-11, or at least 13 years at Pay Level-10.

Medical Officer: For the post of Medical Officer (Psychiatrist), candidates must possess an MBBS degree, including the completion of an internship. Additionally, candidates must have 3 years of experience working in a recognized hospital.

Career Counselor: A Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field, secured with a minimum of 55% marks. Furthermore, candidates must possess 7 years of relevant experience, of which 5 years must specifically involve work as a full-time Career Counselor, including experience in psychometric testing and profiling. Superintending Engineer: Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Engineering/Technology or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university, with a minimum aggregate score of 55%. Additionally, candidates must have at least 08 years of regular service as an Executive Engineer (Civil or Electrical) or an equivalent position, carrying a Grade Pay of ₹6600/-. Alternatively, candidates holding a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology with a minimum of 13 years of experience in a Group 'A' post are also eligible to apply.

How to Apply for IIT Delhi Recruitment?
To apply online, candidates must visit the NIELIT recruitment portal at recruit-iitd.nielit.in.
On the Notice Board, click on the link titled "Click Here to register for online application."
In the 'Basic Details' section, fill in particulars such as your name, Aadhaar number, father's name, mother's name, date of birth, gender, mobile number, and category; then, click on the declaration checkbox and submit the form.

Once your Registration Number and Password have been generated, proceed to log in.
You will now be prompted to fill in various additional details in the remaining fields of the application form.
Ensure that you fill in all details exactly as they appear on your official certificates.

Scan and upload your photograph and signature. Pay the prescribed application fee, and take a printout of the completed application form for your records. Candidates currently employed in Government, Semi-Government, PSU, CPSE, or similar organizations are required to send a printout of their filled application form—along with all supporting documents—to IIT Delhi via Speed ​​Post. The mailing address is: Recruitment Cell, Room No. 207/C-7, Deputy Director's Office, IIT Delhi, Hauz Khas, New Delhi-110016. Applications submitted in person (by hand) will not be accepted.

To apply for this recruitment drive, candidates belonging to the Unreserved (General), EWS, or OBC categories are required to pay an application fee of ₹1500. Conversely, for candidates belonging to the SC, ST, Women, PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities), and Ex-Servicemen categories, the application fee has been fixed at ₹750.
