UPPRPB UP Police SI Answer Key 2026 Update: The examination for the recruitment of over 4,500 Sub-Inspectors (SI) in the UP Police has concluded. The Uttar Pradesh Daroga (SI) examination was conducted offline across two shifts on March 14 and 15, 2026. All candidates who appeared for this exam are now eagerly awaiting the official UP SI answer key to estimate their probable scores. The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) will soon release this key on its official website, uppbpb.gov.in. Simple steps to download the answer key are also outlined here.
UP SI Recruitment 2026 Exam: When will the Answer Key be Released?
During the previous Uttar Pradesh Daroga recruitment cycle, the examination for 9,534 posts was conducted in three shifts between November 12 and December 2, 2021. Subsequently, the Recruitment Board made the provisional answer key available for viewing just one week later, on December 10, 2021. Given this precedent, it is anticipated that candidates will not have to wait long for the provisional answer key for the current SI recruitment drive either.
The answer key is expected to be released during the fourth week of March. The UPPRPB will likely publish the official answer key by March 25, 2026. However, the Recruitment Board has not yet issued any official statement regarding this matter; this information is currently based solely on speculation.
How to Download the UP Police SI Answer Key?
Once the answer key for the Uttar Pradesh Police Sub-Inspector examination is released, you can check it online by following the simple steps outlined below:
First, visit the official website of the Police Recruitment Board: uppbpb.gov.in.
Under the 'Top Notices' section on the homepage, you will find a notice or information related to the answer key.
You will see a link labeled "UP Police SI Answer Key 2026 Download PDF" (this link will appear once the answer key is released).
Upon clicking this link, the answer key—organized by shift and set—will be displayed on your screen. You can verify your answers against the questions asked in the exam.
How to Calculate Your UP SI Score Using the Answer Key?
Once the provisional answer key is released, you can easily calculate your probable score yourself. To do this, you will need the carbon copy of your OMR sheet. By cross-referencing your responses with the correct answers provided in the answer key, determine the total number of questions you answered correctly and incorrectly. Multiply the number of questions you answered correctly by 2.5.
This will give you your probable score. The examination consisted of a total of 160 questions, with each question carrying 2.5 marks. Furthermore, there was no negative marking applicable in this exam; therefore, you do not need to deduct any marks from your total score. Simply counting your correct answers and multiplying that figure by 2.5 will yield your probable score. However, normalization based on the specific exam shift will also be applied, which may result in your score fluctuating (either increasing or decreasing). If your score exceeds 300, you may begin preparing for the physical efficiency test.
