President Draupadi Murmu reached Vrindavan, visited Prem Mandir, will participate in many programs today

Uttar Pradesh: President Droupadi Murmu arrived in Vrindavan on Thursday, where she had darshan of the Lord at the famous Prem Mandir along with her family and Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel. He is on a three-day tour of Uttar Pradesh. Before this she had also gone to Ayodhya.

 

Visited Prem Mandir and ISKCON

The President was given a grand welcome on reaching Vrindavan. He first visited ISKCON Temple Vrindavan and participated in the aarti. After this, he reached Prem Mandir and worshiped as per the rituals. The temple complex seemed completely immersed in an atmosphere of devotion and reverence.

 

Saw laser show, grand welcome

The President and the Governor were honored by the temple management and were informed about the features of the temple. The President also watched the laser show organized here. During this, tight security arrangements were made and a large number of devotees witnessed this special occasion.

 

Parikrama and special puja

The President had darshan of Shri Radha-Krishna in the sanctum sanctorum and offered prayers and participated in the aarti. After this he also circumambulated the temple premises. Going to the first floor, he had darshan of Kripalu Maharaj and the idol of Shri Sita-Ram and took the prasad.

On Friday, the President will visit Premanand Ji Maharaj’s ashram and pay homage at the Samadhi of Neem Karoli Baba. Apart from this, she will also visit Oriya Baba Ashram and Devnal Kund. On the same day, she will inaugurate the new oncology block of Ramakrishna Mission Sevashram and will also visit Vatsalya Gram.

 

March 21st program

On March 21, the President will visit Danghati Temple in Govardhan and participate in the Aarti and will also circumambulate Govardhan.

There is a lot of enthusiasm among the local people regarding this visit of the President. People say that such a visit will see improvement in the development, cleanliness and traffic system of Mathura-Vrindavan area.
