'Entitled' Prince Harry and Meghan slammed live on Sky News as true colours exposed

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been heavily criticised once again over the Duke of Sussex's ongoing security debate. The couple are planning to visit the UK this summer, on the condition they receive taxpayer-funded police protection. Harry, 41, lost his automatic police protection in the UK in 2020, when he decided to step down as a working royal and relocate to California with his wife.

Harry has repeatedly argued against the decision, even taking the matter to court, while the Home Office is now reportedly attempting to block his request over backlash fears. Sky News Australia host Danica De Giorgio has questioned why Harry's security is even a discussion as he is no longer a working royal. Danica was joined by GB News presenter Emily Carver, who admitted she was surprised the saga is still going on.

"I thought a decision had been made but no, legal challenges after legal challenges from Prince Harry who feels like he's always the victim in this situation," Emily said.

She agreed that there would be major public outcry if the Home Office was to grant the couple taxpayer-funded security as they have repeatedly "slagged off the Royal Family", adding that Harry has brought risk upon himself after writing about how many members of the Taliban he killed in his memoir Spare.

The GB News host continued: "There are risks against him, it would be churlish to ignore that. But, it's curious he didn't need Home Office security when he was caught walking around Fulham on his own ringing on random people's doorbells looking for a friend's house. He seemed to be perfectly safe then, so he does pick and choose."

Branding Harry a "multi-millionaire", she observed that he can afford to pay for the security himself.

"He sums up the word 'entitlement'. He feels he's trapped by his own family but he criticises us all," she added.

Danica branded Harry as "Meghan's spare handbag," with both agreeing that he often plays the victim.

The presenter then invited Emily to share her view on what she described as the couple's "phoney royal tours" ahead of their trip to Australia next month, particularly in light of a newly launched petition calling for public funds not to be used to support the visit.

The presenter lashed out at the couple and exposed what she thinks is the true meaning behind their recent "tours".

She said: "They want all the perks and the PR of being part of the Royal Family but they don't want any of the responsibility. They like to turn up to events, have a few photos taken, look like the charming, lovely people that they wish to present themselves and then go home. They go back to California.

"They should obviously pay for their own trips. They're very clearly doing a mix of business and a little bit of charity work. They should stump up their own cash for such events. I'm with the 11,000 people who've signed this petition."
