While it was emotional for the Rajasthan Royals fans to watch Sanju Samson against them, it was similar for Chennai Super Kings fans to watch their Thalapathy Ravindra Jadeja as the opponent. Even though Sanju Samson could not capitalize on his trade to CSK tonight, Ravindra Jadeja unleashed a cold "pistol" celebration after dismissing his former teammate Shivam Dube.
Chennai Super Kings is struggling. The young captain Riyan Parag is cleverly using his bowlers, especially his speedsters, and CSK is already 82 for 8 in the 13th over.
Shivam Dube walked in when CSK was down for 7, having 57 runs on the board. Dube could only manage a big six before Jadeja ended his innings. Jads delivered a full and wide of the off stump. Dube wanted to hit a six again but couldn't get the distance. Ravi Bishnoi at long off took an easy catch.
And Jadeja, who is famous for his sword celebrations, pulled out a pistol celebration, which caught the attention.

Notably, Ravindra Jadeja was a part of the 2008 IPL-winning side for the Rajasthan Royals before he moved to CSK after a year-long stint with the Kochi Tuskers. In 2025, Rajasthan Royals got him and Sam Curran in exchange for Sanju Samson. And in the first match for RR, today, at Guwahati, Jads took 2 wickets so far after bowling 3 overs, conceding 18 runs. The other prey is Sarfaraz Khan, CSK's desperate substitute player.
