Yash confirms 'KGF 3' will happen only with the right script, shares 'TOXIC' story DETAILS

Rocking Star Yash rose to massive fame after the release of the action thriller ‘ KGF ’ franchise. Ever since the second installment hit the big screens, it has made fans want to know what the makers have in store for its third part. As Yash is already occupied with two of his grand projects, ‘Toxic’ and 'Ramayana,' he recently shared an update about the Prashanth Neel directorial.
‘ KGF 3 ’ to take time to be releasedAccording to a report by Moneycontrol, Yash, during his visit to the United States at the CinemaCon 2026, shared that ‘KGF 3’ is not coming any time soon. He assured fans that ‘KFG 3’ will happen, as the franchise isn’t over yet. He shared that as he is occupied with the two major releases, he and director Prashanth Neel will definitely make it when they crack the perfect script, as they want to keep quality a priority. “We aren’t planning anything soon because I have Toxic and Ramayana 1 and 2. I and the director Prashanth Neel will keep talking. We need to come up with the right script and then we’ll definitely make it happen," he said.
Yash shares the ‘Toxic’ premiseDuring the event, he also talked about his upcoming release, 'Toxic,' where he gave a basic premise of what the film is about. He shared that the film is set in Goa from the time when the Portuguese controlled it. He added that it has multiple elements of father and son, emotions, a love angle, and more.
He said, “It’s a father-and-son revenge saga that starts after India gained independence and the British had left, but Goa was still under Portuguese control [until 1961]. There was so much mystery around that place. It’s a gangster era, so it’s about greed, power, and politics, but we go deeper. We explore emotions. It’s a love story," he said.
‘Toxic’The film is directed by Geetu Mohandas and is co-written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas. It has a strong cast including Kiara Advani , Nayanthara , Huma Qureshi , Rukmini Vasanth, and Tara Sutaria. It is set to be released on June 4, 2026.
