Knews Desk– Raghav Chadha has once again made sharp attacks on his former party Aam Aadmi Party. In a statement after meeting the President, he said the party was no longer behaving like a political organization but like a “rejected ex-lover” who was acting out of revenge.
Raghav Chadha claimed that he told the President that the state machinery was being misused by the Punjab government and he and other leaders were being targeted out of political vendetta. He said that after leaving the party, he was being called corrupt, whereas earlier he was called “cultured”.
He alleged that the AAP government in Punjab was taking action against him and other leaders. According to him, false cases are being registered against his associates and factories and properties are being damaged. He also claimed that the party is preparing to take the next step against him. Raghav Chadha said in a warning manner that if politics of revenge is done, it can have serious consequences. He also said that the opposition has limited states, while the other party is in power in many states, so such politics can be dangerous.
He further said that in a democracy, every leader has the right to take political decisions under his constitutional rights and it should be respected. He described the meeting with the President as positive and said that it has strengthened his faith in democratic values.
The political stir on this entire matter has intensified, because Raghav Chadha’s statement has further increased the tension between the ruling and opposition parties. Now all eyes are on how the AAP leadership reacts to these allegations and in what direction this political controversy goes next.
