Hackney fire LIVE: London blaze today as huge fire erupts on Mount Pleasant Lane

A huge fire has erupted in Hackney, London, as more than 50 firefighters reportedly respond. The blaze erupted this evening on Mount Pleasant Lane, in the north of the capital, with one person reporting that it "started before my eyes so quickly".
Another social media user at the scene said over 50 firefighters from the London Fire Brigade had been sent to tackle the inferno. Pictures and videos shared on X show a large cloud of grey smoke pouring into the sky, which appeared to be seen for miles.
