Lucknow. The layer of corruption spread in the Health Department of Uttar Pradesh has now become thicker. The claim mafia is doing all their work inside the department without fear and arbitrarily. From officers to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), they are supporting him in all these works. Now such a case has come to light in the health department, which is very surprising. In fact, tenders worth lakhs of rupees are being made by the drug mafia itself, in which the CMO is also fully supporting them. Now two tenders of Ambedkar Nagar have come out, which were issued on 23 March. In these two tenders, material worth Rs 14,13,760.00 and Rs 16,81,360.00 had to be purchased for conducting diagnostic services. This tender was issued in a hurry but when the expose investigated this tender, a huge nexus between the drug mafia and the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) came to light.

Actually, it has been written in both these tenders of Ambedkar Nagar that, in the financial year 2025-26, guidelines have been given for the efficient operation of diagnostic services for the Urban Ayushman Arogya Mandir and the Urban Primary Health Center approved under the National Health Mission 15th FC Scheme and the National Urban Health Mission. In accordance with the above guidelines, a total amount of Rs 14,13,760.00 has been provisioned at the rate of FMR Code- FU-1.1.2 Dlagnostic Recurring Cost of Urban AAM@2,82,752.00 per Urban AAM for conducting activities in Meerut district. The most important thing in this is that, if the purchase is being made for running diagnostic services in Ambedkar Nagar, then where did the mention of running the activities in ‘District Meerut’ come from?

If sources are to be believed, there are two dozen districts of the state including Ambedkar Nagar, where CMOs close to drug mafia Mukesh Srivastava are posted. The ID and password of the Gem portal of all these CMOs are with them and they arbitrarily issue similar tenders in the entire state, which is clearly visible in both the tenders issued in Ambedkar Nagar, how ‘Meerut’ district has been mentioned in them. Sources also said that Mukesh Srivastava and his close ones make the tenders themselves for the district where they are working and they are exactly the same.

Purdafash News had already told that, after getting his CMO deployed in the districts, Mukesh gets the ID and password of his Gem portal, after which he starts a big game of purchase and supply worth crores. The most important thing is that earlier he used to do the work of buying and selling of medicines and medical equipment from dozens of districts from the second floor of Lekhraj Market in Indiranagar of the capital Lucknow, but after Pradafash News wrote the news, he shifted his office to another place in Lucknow. However, once again the nexus of drug mafia Mukesh Srivastava and CMO has been exposed.
