Yuzvendra Chahal: In a video that went viral on social media, Yuzvendra Chahal was seen smoking e-cigarette in a flight. After which there was a demand to send this leg spinner to jail.

Yuzvendra Chahal: Punjab Kings leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal is currently the target of critics. The reason for this is not his performance but one of his actions due to which he has come under everyone’s target. Chahal was seen vaping on the plane.

Since then, Chahal is being heavily criticized. Now former Indian leg spinner Laxman Sivaramakrishnan has said something big about Chahal. He has demanded strict punishment for this leg spinner.

Giants angry at Yuzvendra Chahal

Sivaramakrishnan has said that when vaping is banned then Chahal should be punished for using it. Chahal was also fined 25 percent of the match fee for this. Shivaramakrishnan has said that this fine is quite low.

What did Shivamakrishnan say?

Former Indian spinner Laxman Sivaramakrishnan has slammed Yuzvendra Chahal while reacting to this controversy. He wrote on his X handle, “Vape is banned in India. Such a person should be put in jail. What is the use of making laws if they are not implemented? 25% of the match fee is a nominal amount. If a common man had done this, what action would have been taken?

Yuzvendra Chahal is in trouble

Punjab Kings star fast bowler Arshdeep Singh often shares reels on Instagram. Fans also wait for his videos. However, a video by Arshdeep put Chahal in trouble. It was seen in the clip that the star spinner was allegedly smoking e-cigarette while sitting in the plane.

However, Cricket Adda has not been able to independently confirm the authenticity of this video nor verify whether Chahal was actually smoking an e-cigarette or not. The use and sale of e-cigarettes is banned in India.

Riyan Parag also smoked e-cigarette

The issue of vaping has come to light for the second time in IPL 2026. Earlier, Rajasthan Royals captain Riyan Parag was seen smoking e-cigarette in the dressing room during the live match. Taking action on this, BCCI fined Ryan 25% of the match fee. It remains to be seen whether any action will be taken against Chahal in connection with the alleged vaping incident.
