Sydney. Australia has not included fast bowlers Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood in their squad for the limited overs series in Pakistan and Bangladesh late next month. These three players will not be able to play in the three-match ODI series against Pakistan starting from May 30. All-rounder Liam Scott and Australia Under-19 World Cup captain Ollie Peake have been included in the senior team for the first time.
Young batsman Joel Davis has been selected in the squad for the T20 series against Bangladesh in June. He has also got a chance for the first time. Travis Head, Cooper Connolly, Ben Dwarshius and Xavier Bartlett will leave for Bangladesh after the Indian Premier League (IPL), while experienced all-rounder Glenn Maxwell has been dropped from the team.
Keeping in mind the ODI World Cup to be held in South Africa, Namibia and Zimbabwe in October next year, Mitchell Marsh will captain both the teams. After this he will tour Bangladesh and play three ODI matches in Dhaka (June 9, 11 and 14) and three T20 International matches in Chattogram (June 17, 19 and 21).
