Vande Mataram, national song, to be sung across West Bengal schools

West Bengal Chief Minister announced 'Vande Mataram' will be sung in all state schools starting Monday. An official notification will be issued from Nabanna. Kolkata: West Bengal Chief Minister announced that “Vande Mataram” will be introduced in all schools across the state from Monday.

A notification will be issued in this regard at Nabbanna, the state secretariat. The Chief Minister also stated that Rathindranath Bose will be made the Speaker of the Assembly

"Bose represents North Bengal and we will nominate him," he said.

He refused to comment on former CM Mamata Banerjee moving court. He congratulated all the students who performed successfully in the Higher Secondary examinations. The Chief Minister said that he would personally speak to the students securing the first, second, and third positions.

The Chief Minister further said that he is going to Nabanna, and an official notification regarding the matter will be issued soon.
