A recruitment notification has been issued for Assistant Sub-Inspector posts in Bihar. Interested and eligible candidates can apply via the official website, bpssc.bihar.gov.in, starting May 21.

This comes as good news for candidates in Bihar who are on the lookout for a job. The BPSSC has announced vacancies for the posts of Assistant Sub-Inspector, and the official notification regarding this has now been released.

Candidates wishing to apply for the Assistant Sub-Inspector positions within the state will be able to submit their applications starting May 21. The deadline for submitting applications has been set for June 21.

To apply, candidates must hold a diploma in Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electrical, or Communication from any recognized institution.

Regarding the age criteria for this recruitment, the minimum age limit for applicants has been set at 21 years. While the maximum age limit for male candidates is 37 years, the maximum age limit for female candidates has been fixed at 40 years. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be granted age relaxation in the upper age limit in accordance with applicable rules.

The selection process for these posts will involve a written examination followed by a physical measurement test. In the written examination, candidates will be required to answer 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) carrying a total of 100 marks.

The duration of this examination will be two hours. The exam will feature questions related to current affairs as well as the specific subject domain. Candidates who qualify in this preliminary examination will proceed to appear for the Main Examination.
