The 2026 World Cup is set to be the largest international football event ever, featuring 48 national teams competing in 104 matches across North and Central America during June and July.
Organising such a massive tournament will be a monumental challenge for officials and committees, and fans who wish to follow every match closely will also have their work cut out for them.
With the fixtures running from June 11 to July 19 and spread across 13 different kick-off times, keeping track of all matches and timings will not be an easy task.

Before importing your World Cup calendar into Google Calendar or iCal, make sure to unzip the downloaded folder to access the correct file format.
Steps to unzip files on Windows:
Locate the downloaded folder, which will have a .zip extension.
Right-click on it and choose Extract All...
Select your preferred location and click Extract.
Steps to unzip files on Mac:
Double-click the downloaded .zip file.
The contents will automatically be extracted to a new folder in the same location.
Steps to unzip files on Android:
Open the Files by Google application.
Find the downloaded .zip file.
Tap on the file icon, and a pop-up will appear.
Select Extract to unpack the files.
Steps to unzip files on iPhone/iPad:
Open the Files app (blue folder icon).
Go to the folder where your downloaded file is located (for example, “Downloads” or “On My iPhone”).
Tap on the zip file once.
A new folder with the extracted files will be automatically created.
If tapping doesn’t work, long-press the file and choose Uncompress.
To import into Google Calendar:
Open Google Calendar in your browser.
Click the Settings gear icon and select Settings.
From the left menu, choose Import & Export.
Click Select file from your computer and upload your .ics or .csv file.
Under Add to calendar, pick the calendar where World Cup fixtures should appear.
Click Import to complete the process.
To import into Apple Calendar (iCal):
Open the Calendar app on your Mac or iOS device.
Click on File and then select Import.
Choose your .ics or .ical file from your computer.
Select the calendar where you want the fixtures to appear, or create a new one, and then click Import.
