- Unprecedented speed
- 20 times faster than 5G
- Overcome conventional limitations
Japan 6G device test: Currently, while the whole world is experiencing the speed of 5G network, Japan, the leader in the world of technology (Japan) has performed a miracle which has dazzled the eyes of all. Scientists in Japan have successfully tested the world’s first 6G prototype device. With the help of this new device, scientists have achieved tremendous wireless internet speeds of up to 112 Gbps (Gigabits per second). This speed is 20 times faster than the 5G networks we currently use. This revolution is going to completely change the way we use the internet, download data and live streaming in the future.
This historic discovery has been made by Professor Takeshi Yasui of Tokushima University in Japan and his very talented research team. They achieved this speed without interference in the high frequency band of 560 GHz (Gigahertz). Due to this, the tech world all over the world is currently talking about one thing, the 6G revolution and Japan’s dominance.
‘That’ hard limit of 350 GHz and the challenge of Japanese scientists
Scientists from many countries around the world have been trying to develop 6G networks for the past few years. High-speed internet requires the use of very high frequencies. But, there was a huge technical difficulty in this. Our usual conventional electronic circuits stop working or break down beyond a certain limit.
When the frequency of the Internet signal goes beyond 350 GHz, a huge amount of ‘Phase Noise’ (Phase Noise) i.e. digital disturbance is created in it. This noise distorts the transmitted data and makes it unusable. This is why crossing this wall of 350 GHz has become a big challenge for engineers around the world. But Professor Takeshi Yasui and his team completely broke this old electronic limit and produced a result that stunned the scientific world.

Not electronic, now the Internet will run at the speed of light!
To create this miracle, Japanese scientists put aside the traditional electronic method and used ‘photonics’ (photonics) i.e. technology based on light. Throughout this experiment ‘Optical Microcomb’ (Optical Microcomb) A very small but high-tech device called the name has played the most important role.
This device works like a high-tech laser ruler. It produces a very steady, precise and fine beam of light. These beams are so precise and stable that they do not produce any digital noise. This results in extremely clear, pure and powerful Terahertz (THz) signals. As a result, data can be transmitted from one place to another at super-fast speeds without any hindrance. Simply put, your internet will now run at the speed of light, not over copper wires or ordinary waves.
From the laboratory directly to the real world: a practical tool
Often such high-tech inventions are confined to the laboratory, as they are difficult to apply in the real world. A major problem with laser and chip technology is that even the slightest vibration will cause the laser to misalign and the internet connection will be lost immediately. But Japanese scientists have come up with a very practical and permanent solution.

This team directly connected ‘Optical Fiber’ ‘Silicon Nitride Microresonator Chip’ (Silicon Nitride Microresonator Chip) Added permanently. This ingenuity of scientists has led to three major benefits:
1. Miniaturization: A large and cumbersome setup in a laboratory is now contained in a tiny chip smaller than a human fingernail.
2. Stability: Because the optical fiber is glued directly, the risk of the laser misalignment and internet outages no matter how much vibration is now gone forever.
3. Protection from weather: A special ‘Temperature Controller’ (Temperature Controller) has been installed in this device so that the changing climate, hot and cold in India or other countries of the world does not have any bad effect on this device. Due to this, the device works very stably even in different environments.

What will change when 6G comes?
We can understand what the speed of 112 Gbps is with a simple example. Downloading a high-definition (HD) movie over current 5G networks takes seconds or minutes. But, with the help of 6G technology, more than 20 movies can be downloaded simultaneously in one second.
This speed is not only limited to downloading movies. Thanks to this technology, artificial intelligence (AI) driven systems, hologram communication (communicating by creating a three-dimensional image in the air), autonomous vehicles (autonomous vehicles) and remote medical surgery (immediate surgery with the help of a robot even when the doctor is away) will be possible in a very safe and seamless manner.
This leap by Japan is the first and very strong step towards commercial use of 6G. When this technology reaches the general public in the future, there is no doubt that human life and the digital world will be completely transformed.
