Vande Bharat sleeper train will provide the passengers with luxury hotel like facilities. It will feature comfortable berths, modern interiors, smart lighting systems, high-speed Wi-Fi, state-of-the-art toilets and CCTV system for security. Apart from this, Indian Railways’ indigenous ‘Kavach’ safety technology will also be installed in these trains. So night travel will be safer and more comfortable.
160 km per hour speed
These Vande Bharat sleeper trains will be capable of running at a speed of 160 km per hour. Hence, the travel time on long distance routes like Mumbai-Bangalore, Delhi-Secunderabad is likely to be reduced to a large extent.
