Actor Allu Arjun is set to appear before the Nampally Criminal Court in the Sandhya Theatre stampede case after the court rejected his request for a virtual hearing. Trial proceedings are expected to begin following his appearance in the case.

Hyderabad: Actor Allu Arjun is scheduled to appear before the Nampally Criminal Court today in connection with the Sandhya Theatre stampede case.
Allu Arjun, who has been named as Accused No. 11 (A-11) in the case, was earlier issued summons by the court along with other suspects including from the theatre management.
The actor had reportedly sought permission to attend the hearing virtually, citing shooting commitments in Mumbai. However, the court rejected the request and directed him to appear in person.
The case pertains to the stampede that occurred outside Sandhya Theatre during the premiere screening of Pushpa 2: The Rule, in December 2024, in which a woman lost her life and several others were injured.
Following Allu Arjun’s personal appearance before the court, trial proceedings in the case are expected to commence.
Meanwhile, the hearing is being closely watched given the high profile nature of the case and the involvement of the top actor and other suspect persons.
