A historic trade took place between Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals from IPL 2026. In this, Chennai Super Kings traded their star all-rounders Ravindra Jadeja and Sam Curran with Rajasthan Royals. In return, Chennai Super Kings included wicketkeeper-batsman Sanju Samson in their team. In this deal, Jadeja’s fee was reduced from Rs 18 crore to Rs 14 crore, while Sam Curran’s salary remained only Rs 2.4 crore.
