Do not keep garbage in this place

Where should a broom be kept in the house?
The south-west corner of the house is the best place to keep a broom. In Vastu, this direction is considered to be associated with stability, connection with the land and security of wealth. If your flat does not have a clear south-west corner, then find the south-west corner in your entire floor plan and make the place for keeping the broom there.
How to store a broom correctly
- Always keep the broom out of sight. The broom should not be visible from your living room, dining area or main door. For this, a utility corner with a closed cabinet or curtain is perfect.
- Keep it lying down, not standing. According to Vastu, a standing broom brings economic instability.
- Replace it if it gets damaged. A broken or worn broom is considered inauspicious. Do not try to keep it taped or in use. Change it immediately and Saturday is considered the best day to do so.
- Keep different brooms for different places. Do not use the same broom for kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. Each area should have its own cleaning tool.
