Patna, 13 July. Information about the entire wealth of election strategist, Jan Suraj Party leader Prashant Kishore and his family has come out publicly for the first time. PK, who is contesting the by-election from Patna’s Bankipur assembly seat, has himself disclosed about his smallest assets in the election affidavit filed during the nomination.

Prashant Kishore and his doctor wife Jahvani Das jointly own properties worth more than Rs 200 crore. PK alone paid income tax and GST worth Rs 10 crore in the last 5 years. Both husband and wife have land, flats and bungalows in their names from Delhi to Patna and Guwahati.

Details of Prashant Kishore’s assets as per election affidavit

According to the election affidavit, PK has total cash in hand of Rs 65,570. There are FDs and balance deposits of more than Rs 7 crore in the bank. He also invests in the stock market. Prashant Kishore has bought shares of Bharti Airtel and Indian Overseas Bank, whose total market value is around Rs 63.44 lakh. Apart from this, he has invested in LIC and other insurance policies. Their total value is around Rs 10 crore.

PK has also invested in a company named Vedas Ventures Private Limited. He has given Rs 8.31 crore as loan to this company. He has less interest in gold and silver. She has just one 0.6 gram gold ring and no silver jewellery. PK’s total movable assets are worth Rs 22.19 crore and immovable assets are worth Rs 73.87 crore.

Have purchased land from Delhi to Patna

In 2014, PK had purchased the old rice mill land in Konar village of Sivasagar in Rohtas district for Rs 25 lakh. Its current market value is Rs 9.75 crore. There is residential land in New Pataliputra Colony, Phulwarisharif, Patna, whose current value is Rs 16 crore. There is a bungalow in Vasant Vihar, Delhi, whose current price is Rs 22.50 crore.

Have also taken a loan of Rs 5 crore from HDFC Bank.

Apart from this, there are two flats in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad and one in Vasundhara. There is land in Buxar in the name of my late mother. He also has a share in his ancestral land in his ancestral village Konar in Rohtas district. He has also taken a loan of Rs 5 crore from HDFC Bank.

Prashant Kishore is indebted to his wife!

The thing to be noted in Prashant Kishor’s election affidavit is that he has taken a loan from his wife. Dr. Jhanvi Das has given a loan of Rs 41.88 lakh to her husband. This is mentioned in the affidavit in Jhanvi’s column. However, this is not mentioned in PK’s liabilities.

How much property does PK’s wife have??

Prashant Kishore’s wife Jhanvi Das is an MBBS doctor. He has movable assets worth Rs 89 crore and immovable assets worth more than Rs 12 crore. He has 475 grams of gold and 200 grams of silver jewellery. He has invested Rs 95 crore in Vedas Ventures Private Limited Company. Also, a house and flat in Guwahati, Assam is also in his name.

200 PK and Jhanvi are owners of crores

Prashant Kishore and his wife Dr. Jhanvi Das together own assets worth about Rs 200 crore. They have a 16 year old son, whose name is Dainik Bhardwaj. Parents have also made an FD of Rs 7 lakh in his name in the bank.

Prashant Kishore filled in 10 Income tax and GST of crores

While earning in the last five years, PK also paid full taxes. In the last five years, he had paid a total income tax of Rs 4.45 crore. Apart from this, GST of Rs 5.58 crore has also been paid from 2021 to 2025. Prashant Kishore’s wife also pays income tax of eight to nine lakh rupees to the government every year.
