Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) has initiated a recruitment drive to fill vacant positions for Mining Sirdar and Surveyor; the application process began on July 14. **Recruitment Details**
A total of 259 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment drive. Of these, 254 posts are reserved for Mining Sirdar (T&S Gr. C) and 5 posts for Surveyor (T&S Gr. B - Mining).

**Eligibility and Criteria**
Candidates must have passed the matriculation (10th standard) examination to participate in this recruitment. Additionally, candidates must possess a Sirdarship or Surveyor certificate, as applicable. The candidate's age must be at least 18 years and not more than 30 years; however, candidates belonging to reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per the rules.

**Free Application for Certain Categories**
Candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PH (Physically Handicapped) categories can apply for free. However, candidates from the General, OBC, and EWS categories are required to pay an application fee of ₹1,180.

**Selection Process**
To be selected, candidates must first undergo an online computer-based examination. Those who secure the prescribed cut-off marks in this exam will be invited to the next stage: document verification. Subsequently, a final list of selected candidates will be prepared, and successful candidates will be appointed to the vacant posts.
