Sports Authority of India (SAI), Central Regional Center (CRC), Bhopal had the privilege of welcoming the famous Indian women's team cricketer Kranti Gaur during her visit to their centre. According to a press release, Abhishek Singh Chauhan, Regional Director, SAI CRC Bhopal, had a warm interaction with the successful cricketer on the occasion.

Abhishek Singh Chauhan congratulated Kranti Gaur for her stellar achievements in international cricket and wished her all the best for her continued success in representing India on the global stage. During the meeting, RD SAI CRC Bhopal briefed them about the Fit India Movement, highlighting its vision to encourage citizens to adopt an active and healthy lifestyle through regular physical activity and community participation.

Kranti Gaur's historic performance at Lord's

Earlier this month, Goud was the standout performer with the ball in India's historic win in the Women's Test at Lord's. He took 5 wickets for 37 runs in England's first innings, helping India take a decisive lead of 115 runs. He then took 2 for 54 in the second innings, when England were all out for 186 runs while chasing a mammoth target of 457 runs. He received the Player of the Match award for taking seven wickets in the match.

This comprehensive win not only marked India's first women's Test win at Lord's, but also extended the team's unbeaten record in Test cricket on English soil. (ANI)
